Recognizing this and not wanting to
appear completely negligent...
Wearing little more than sunglasses
and sunscreen
I head out
Grabbing water, a book and a hat
To help fortify myself to sit in the
sweltering heat
Trying to make peace with the
Sun God.

This flitted in and out of my brain as I sat out with a breeze so inconsistent as to be useless and being SO pale I only reflected the sun back unto itself... can this count as suffering for my God?
